My first ride at the rodeo was Typepad. It was good. Gave me my voice. A place to organize rough thoughts, test new ideas, answer questions and capture snapshots of life as it speed by. That’s where it all started. And, it’s where my book came from. Good times.
After awhile I was one of the only ones left on Typepad so I joined all the cool kids on Wordpress with tons of options, peer support and customization. It was a great move. For a good while. But, recently it got to be too much. It was a beast. Too much to maintain. Too many moving parts to break. Too serious. Too vulnerable to hackers. It started to weigh me down & make me sad.
Welcome to my new playground on Tumblr. I’m kicking it fast and casual—from now on, it’s all happening here. Nothing fancy. Nothing custom. Nothing sponsored. Just me with an off-the-shelf theme and off-the-cuff content.
